When silicone rubber is curing, platinum catalysts can efficiently catalyse Si-Vi and Si-H addition reactions without producing any side reactions. In addition, the platinum catalyst offers strong anti-toxic properties and good stability, which can prevent the creation of black substances during use or storage and lessen the impact of chemicals containing sulfur and nitrogen.
