Silicone Rubber PPT Grade

The AZ103-XXG grade of silicone is precipitate silica base silicone rubber compound designed to produce moulded parts. This translucent material allows for easy incorporation of custom colors. Mostly use in electronic and electronic industry.

Characteristic Properties of Silicone Rubber Compounds

The major component of the silicone rubber polymer molecule is high molar mass linear polysiloxane, which is arranged in a chain structure by Si-O (si-o) bonds. Silicone rubber is superior to ordinary rubber in terms of heat resistance, electrical insulation, chemical stability, and other properties because of its Si - O - Si chain. It also has a molecular spiralling structure, methyl outwards that is arranged and can rotate freely, and a main connection of silicon atoms that is methyl . Polydiformaldehyde siloxane, the common silicone rubber, has a helical molecular configuration, a small intermolecular force, and good resilience. It also indicates that the helical outside the formaldehyde base can rotate freely, giving the raw material for HTV silicone rubber unique surface properties like hydrophobicity and surface anti-viscosity.  

 

Heat resistance: silicone rubber is  more heat resistant than regular rubber. It may be used at 150°C for an extended period of time without experiencing any performance changes, and at 200°C it can be used continuously for 10,000 hours. Additionally, it can be used at 350 °C for  while. Frequently utilised in situations where heat resistance is required: Heat-resistant handle with a thermos sealing ring and pressure cooker ring.

Cold resistance: standard rubber has a delay of -20°C to -30°C. This means that silicone rubber retains its flexibility at -60°C to -70°C. Certain silicone rubber formulations can even tolerate extremely low temperatures. sealing ring made of cryogenic material .

 Weather resistance: While silicone rubber is unaffected by ozone, regular rubber quickly deteriorates when exposed to ozone created by corona discharge. Its physical properties also only slightly alter over an extended period of time in UV radiation and other meteorological conditions. Material for sealing outside  


One of the most crucial components of silicone is HTV silicone rubber.  It is extensively utilised in consumer products, automotive, aerospace, astronautics, mechanic, and electronics and electricity.due to its exceptional qualities, which include resilience to high and low temperatures, electrical qualities, ageing and weathering resistance, and physiological inertness.

Cure condition

Curing agent:2,5-dimethyl 2,5-di(t-butyl peroxy) hexane (0.9%).

Press cure:165°C / 10min 

Post cure:200°C / 4hrs
